I've been doing some spring cleaning recently. It is surprisingly satisfying to de-excess. I used freecycle yesterday to give away a car covering - same day, in a matter of hours, someone came to pick it up. Freecycle is system for giving away stuff for free and getting free stuff from others - recommended.
Going through my stuff I came across a bunch of CDs. Having not used them in a very long time they gave off the impression of being like 8 tracks in their obsolescence - an odd sensation since last time I used them they had modern quality to them.
Going through bathroom stuff I came across aftershave. I don't usually put that on, but this morning I thought what the heck. I smelled nice and was liking that until I recalled Patrick Bateman's line in American Psycho that he uses an aftershave with very little alcohol because alcohol dries the skin. Now I feel not so great about my aftershave use.
