In the recent events it strikes me as possible that Musharraf was ultimately behind the death of Bhutto. Is that too simple (like a crappy crime plot where the person is killed so the killers can get the insurance money)? It will essentially put him back in a controlling position after the legitimacy of his rule was gravely undermined.
