Don't get pregnant if you can't look after your children

Re: Day care situation growing worse, May 14I am growing exceedingly tired of hearing parents complain that they can't find day care.
Anyone who intentionally gets pregnant while working on a degree (or any other long-term, time-consuming endeavour), then can't find strangers to raise their baby and has to quit school (or other endeavour) to raise their own child is plainly irresponsible and guilty of poor planning.
Your article brought a Facebook group called Families for Extended Parental Leave to our attention. Just how much paid leave do these people want? Do you think they would be satisfied if we paid everyone, say, $75,000 a year just to stay home and to keep adding to our planet's overpopulation problem?
