Thank you Gmail

Today I'd like to take a moment to reflect on the positive impact gmail has had. Were it not for gmail I think other web-based email such as yahoo and hotmail would have continued to provide only a very limited amount of storage space - where one had to pay to get extra space. Thanks to gmail, yahoo & hotmail had to stop this dirty practice. I hope google or someone will come along and do the same for the mobile phone/wireless industry and cut down on what can be huge monthly mobile phone bills. Moreover as phones/blackberries/laptops converge into one this will be increasingly essential.
