Line of the Day

A few days later, Conservative Ted Chudleigh even dusted off a copy of the 1991 budget – the NDP's first and most infamous – to use as a prop in his attack on Liberal Finance Minister Dwight Duncan.

For his part, PC finance critic Tim Hudak obsesses over the Rae legacy the way a necrophiliac would a corpse. Almost daily, he compares the province's economic management to "the same old failed tax-and-spend policy that got your now-federal Liberal cousin Bob Rae's government to the deepest recession in the province of Ontario since the Second World War."
