Today was a doldrums kind of day, ergo time for a disturbing song:
I listened to Ween's Chocolate and Cheese album a lot in my grade nine year (the first year of high school for where I was in Ontario) and accordingly have a special like for the album. The tunes are catchy, also Blur's Parklife that was another goodie grade 8-9 album, but they are not great. What was especially pleasant was getting turned on to new music by new friends - a welcome breath of fresh air at a stage of early adolescence where regular things can feel particularly stuffy.
